Raphael Moneo -- LA Cathedral / The cross window above the altar is an interesting re-interpretation of the cathedral rose window, and is the most assertive, collisional form in the cathedral. The slanting plane at the base of the cross, for instance, ends in a sharp edge thrusting into the nave space.
